Owning a business sounded like freedom.
But it never really was.

I didn’t grow up with a laptop. I grew up on job sites—sanding floors, lifting gear, smashing out 12-hour days.

And doing what I thought “being a man” meant:

Work hard. Don’t complain. Provide. Repeat.

That mindset gave us the lifestyle—
Boats. Renovations. Cash. Holidays.

But it didn’t give me peace.

Because deep down?

It wasn’t purpose. It was pressure.

I’ve seen life from both sides—

On the tools, and behind bars.

Two stints in jail before I was 25 gave me perspective.

But it wasn’t until 2019

that everything truly changed.

An unforeseen incident changed our world.

Donna-Lee—my wife—woke up in ICU.

And I was left with a permanent injury to my arm!

Our daughter almost lost both parents on that fateful day.

I checked myself out of hospital against the doctors advice and went straight back to work.

Not because I wanted to. Because I had to.

The pressure didn’t stop. The clients didn’t stop. The grind never stopped.

That was the moment I knew:

There’s gotta be more to life than this.

There’s gotta be a smarter way to earn.

In 2023, I finally gave this online business a shot.

No tools. No stress. No staff.

Just systems, support, and a process that works.

We shut down the company, rented out the house, packed the van—and hit the road.

18 months of full-time travel.

We are currently half of Australia.
Spent 4 months in Bali.
Taken trips to Singapore, Japan, and the US

in the last 24months.

All while crafting our days, building income from our laptops,

and being fully present for our kids.

That was the moment.

Waking up next to the water.

No work ute. No clients chasing me. Just freedom.
